Welcome to Casey Counseling & Consultation

Come on in. Stay awhile.

This is a space for thoughtful, trauma-informed therapy that centers emotional safety, honesty, and real connection. The work here values understanding over quick fixes, and meaningful, sustainable change over surface-level solutions. Humor and the occasional well-placed swear word are welcome here—used thoughtfully, never to minimize the work, but to keep it real and human.

Compassionate Care

Casey Counseling & Consultation is committed to thoughtful, trauma-informed therapy grounded in honesty, relatability, and real connection.

When you step into this space, the intention is that you can finally let out the breath you’ve been holding. For the next hour, the time is yours; a pause from the demands of the day and the pressure to be productive or performative.

Casey Counseling & Consultation is a safe, affirming space for all humans, inclusive of all identities, backgrounds, orientations, and lived experiences. Therapy here is meant to be a place where people can show up as they are, feel respected, and simply be.

More Than Just Therapy

The work at Casey Counseling & Consultation is offered across individual, couples, adult family therapy, self-guided programs, and personalized programs. While the format may differ, the approach remains consistent, relational, trauma-informed, while staying grounded in honesty, curiosity, and connection. Each type of therapy offers a different entry point, but the focus is always on understanding patterns, increasing clarity, and creating change that feels sustainable in real life. About Me

Hi! I’m Ivy, the therapist behind Casey Counseling & Consultation. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy works best when it’s thoughtful, honest, and grounded in real life, not when it’s stiff, scripted, or performative.

My work is trauma-informed and attachment-based, with a strong focus on emotional awareness, accountability, and understanding the patterns that keep people stuck. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating complex relational dynamics, long-standing stress, and the ways past experiences continue to show up in the present. I value depth over quick fixes, clarity over blame, and change that actually holds up outside the therapy room.

I show up as a real person in the room. That means therapy with me often includes humor, plain language, and an occasional swear word. I don’t pretend to have it all figured out, and I don’t expect that from anyone else either. My goal is to create a space where people can slow down, be honest, and do meaningful work in a way that feels human and sustainable.

You Matter Most

For many, this may be one of the first spaces where their thoughts, feelings, and experiences are treated as worthy of time and attention. Being invited into your story is an honor that is never taken for granted, and when you’re in session, you are the focus.

"I feel like Ivy completely gets me and what’s going on with me, and quickly reaches to the heart of my concerns. I established a rapport and connection with her very easily. She has a great sense of humor and I sense she has a lot of love and compassion for me and for people (and animals!) in general. I would recommend Ivy as a therapist."

"Ivy is so warm and funny. I felt like I could be fully open from the first visit and I look forward to our sessions. She has this gentle way of talking about a situation, confirming feelings, affirming decisions that makes you feel secure and safe in sharing memories, interactions and situations. Best thing I’ve done for myself!"

"Ivy made me feel I have someone that not only listens but also tells me her own genuine thought about the topic we're talking about, a genuine thought that reflects a deep understanding of human nature and our surrounding circumstances. That is what makes her a great therapist and person."
